AGD Bank’s Managing Director U Htoo Htet Tayza, was invited to participate via video conference at The 16th ASEAN Central Bank Governors & Financial Institutions CEO's Dialogue held on Friday October 2nd. The agenda of the discussion was centred around policy dialogue on promoting digital transformation across the banking sector. 

Over the course of the discussions, participants were given the opportunity to share their insights and initiatives of how digital transformation has been undertaken in their respective countries. U Htoo Htet Tayza highlighted the impact of the pandemic on digital transformation, financial inclusion and Myanmar's rapid adoption of digital payments. Furthermore, he drew reference to AGD Bank's digital services, in partnership with Onepay, and their initiatives to urgently meet the demands and needs of the rural and unbanked population.
