AGD Bank's Managing Director, U Htoo Htet Tayza was invited to join a distinguished panel discussion at ‘The CLVMT Banker’s Leadership Program”
On October 4th, The Bank of Thailand and the Thai Bankers Association jointly organised a flagship program called ‘The CLVMT Banker’s Leadership Program” held in Bangkok, Thailand. The program aims to provide a platform for high-level executives from financial sectors in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand.
This year’s program theme is tilted ‘Financial Connectivity in the Digital World’ and our Managing Director, U Htoo Htet Tayza was invited to join a distinguished panel Moderated by Mrs. Chantavarn Sucharitakul, Assistant Governor, Bank of Thailand and joined by H.E. Chea Serey, Director General, National Bank of Cambodia.
The topic of conversation was centred around “Building the Ecosystem for Innovations in Financial Services: Roles of Private Players and Regulators”. Over the course of this discussion the panellists shared their initiatives and policies on promoting an ecosystem for financial innovation and the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead for the region.
The bank was honoured to be invited to this speaker and looks forward to the opportunities and collaborations that have been discussed as well as the continued growth in the region.
