AGD Bank Ltd signs 7 Billion MMK finance agreement with BRAC Myanmar Microfinance Company Limited
AGD Bank, one of the leading financial institutions in Myanmar, announces a signing of a Financing Agreement with BRAC Myanmar Microfinance Company Ltd.
The loan agreement between AGD Bank and BRAC Myanmar Microfinance Ltd will support the economic growth of communities across Myanmar. It will support inclusive financial and developmental services for women, people with disabilities as well as marginalized farmers.

BRAC Myanmar Microfinance is a mission-driven organization, operating since 2014 with a mission- ‘To provide a range of financial services responsibly to people at the bottom of the pyramid. We particularly focus on women living in poverty and hard to reach areas to create self-employment opportunities, build financial resilience, and harness women’s entrepreneurial spirit by empowering them economically’.
BRAC offers tailored products and information technology based local solutions that contribute to the development of rural areas in Myanmar, particularly for women. This agreement with AGD Bank will help develop and grow businesses throughout Myanmar.

BRAC’s donors and investors include Governments of the Netherlands, UK and Australia, as well as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
