AGD Bank Ltd announce new sponsorship deal for Myanmar’s No.2 ranked golfer- Hein Sithu
AGD Bank announces the signing of a brand-new deal to sponsor Myanmar’s No. 2 professional golfer to help develop and support the local sporting industry.
Hein Sithu is the youngest player to win in the Myanmar States and Division Individual Champion, at the age of 14. Since then he has regularly won tournaments across the world. Sithu turned professional in 2018 and is currently ranked 2nd in Myanmar.
U Pyi Soe Htin, Chief Business Officer, AGD Bank Ltd, says “We are delighted to announce the signing of this sponsorship agreement with Hein Sithu, one of Myanmar’s leading professional golfers. This sponsorship deal represents the first of its kind for AGD Bank and it is our vision is to help develop and nurture local talent and boost the golf industry across Myanmar.”
The signing ceremony was held the AGD Headquarters on 29th January 2020 and represents the first time AGD Bank have directly sponsored a professional athlete from Myanmar.
